It seems men and women can occupy the same urban spaces but different dimensions of reality. A man walks down a street and sees nothing but anonymous people going about their business. A woman walking the same street sees a gauntlet of men ready to comment on her physical beauty, or perceived lack thereof.  It is a clash of the sexes, and of what’s considered acceptable behavior.
